Mission
The GME Trainee DEI Taskforce aims to:
- Provide a safe and welcoming environment for all trainees.
- Promote GME-related diversity, equity and inclusion within Emory School of Medicine through assisting DEI leadership with planning and advertising of cultural, educational, and social events for all trainees.
- Partner with university employee resource groups (Emory Black Employee Network and Emory Pride Employee Network), faculty, staff, and student affinity groups, School of Medicine Office of Equity and Inclusion leadership and departmental and program DEI committees.
Leadership
Leadership for the GME Trainee DEI Taskforce consists of an Office of Multicultural Affairs/GME Staff Liaison and a resident leader.
