Da’Mere T. Wilson, PhD, is a postdoctoral resident in Health Service Psychology at Emory University School of Medicine. She received her BA in Psychology from St. John’s University and her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona. Additionally, she completed her predoctoral internship at Emory School of Medicine on the Trauma Track. Da’Mere is a psychotherapist and researcher whose clinical interests include using an integrative, liberatory and relational approach to serving those who have experienced racial trauma, traumatic grief, intimate partner violence, complex bereavement and beyond. Her research focuses on how racialization and racism have impacted the grief and bereavement experience in the Black community. Additionally, she is interested in the development of culturally attuned interventions for those experiencing the effects of racial trauma.
