Da’Mere Wilson is a sixth-year doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Arizona. She is currently completing her doctoral internship at Emory University School of Medicine on the Trauma Track. She received her BA in Psychology in 2018 from St. John’s University. Da’Mere is a psychotherapist and researcher whose clinical interests include using an integrative, humanistic and relational approach to serving those who have experienced racial trauma, traumatic grief, complex bereavement and other traumas. Her research has focused on how racialization and racism have impacted the grief and bereavement experience in the Black community. Additionally, she is interested in the development of culturally attuned interventions for those experiencing the effects of racial trauma.
