Elizabeth Shin is a current junior at Emory University majoring in Psychology with a Quantitative Sciences minor. Her interests are in the various factors that may influence women and children’s mental health such as how developmental, societal, environmental and biological factors cause mental health disorders. Elizabeth’s exposure to living in various countries has strengthened her passion for helping underrepresented communities and hopes to enable a broader population to receive mental health treatment regardless of their socioeconomic status. After graduation, Elizabeth plans on pursuing a PhD in clinical psychology. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, running and spending time with friends and family.
