Courtney Williams is a fourth-year doctoral student in the Counseling Psychology program at Auburn University. Her clinical interests center around the provision of culturally responsive and trauma informed care for diverse populations. Her research interests include reduction of maternal health disparities. She is specifically interested in psychoeducational methods for reducing maternal mortality and morbidity among Black women. Her secondary research interests include examining the effectiveness of disparity reduction strategies for psychologists operating in various professional roles.
