Ace Ogbebor is a third-year clinical psychology student at Fielding Graduate University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in women’s and gender studies from California State University, Sacramento, and her master's in social work degree from California State University, San Bernardino. Ace has a passion for serving disadvantaged and marginalized communities, with years of experience working in community mental health. In this capacity, she has provided direct care to individuals and families facing challenges such as severe mental illness, trauma, homelessness and recidivism. Her work has included implementing culturally responsive interventions, advocacy and empowering clients to build resilience and achieve goals. Ace’s commitment to holistic, person-centered care underscores her dedication to fostering healing and growth in underserved populations.
Ace also has research interests in mentorship, particularly in supporting underrepresented students in academia. She has served as a peer mentor for first-year students, fostering their growth and success. Ace is committed to promoting equity and inclusion through her work, combining her clinical experience with her dedication to social justice.
