Graduate study toward the Ph.D. degree may be undertaken in the Hall lab in conjunction with either the Emory University Program in Neuroscience or the Emory University Program in Molecular and Systems Pharmacology. Post-doctoral research positions in the lab are also available, and inquiries regarding these opportunities should be made directly to Randy Hall.
Research in the Hall lab involves a wide range of techniques, spanning the disciplines of molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, pharmacology and physiology. Such diverse and complementary approaches are required to achieve a full understanding of receptor-initiated cellular signaling pathways. The variety of methods employed in the Hall lab make it an ideal environment for students to learn new techniques and to work on exciting projects in the broad area of receptor biology.
