The Emory/Georgia Tech Predictive Health Institute (PHI), through its Center for Health Discovery and Well Being (CHDWB), is a component of the Georgia Clinical and Translational Science Alliance, a collaborative effort of Emory University, Morehouse School of Medicine, the University of Georgia, and Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). The Predictive Health Institute was established as part of the Emory University strategic plan in 2005 as an innovative approach to understanding and optimizing health that focuses on maintaining health rather than treating disease.
