As the Director of Antibiotic Stewardship Research for Emory Healthcare, Dr. Fridkin is responsible for harmonization of stewardship efforts across Emory Healthcare, and promoting antibiotic resistance prevention research to improve patient safety among interconnected facilities in the greater Atlanta area.
Dr. Benjamin Lopman, PhD

Dr. Lopman's team conducts both global and domestic research mainly targeted at diarrheal diseases caused by rotavirus and norovirus. They employ a range of approaches including field studies, statistical analysis and dynamic mathematical modeling to address policy-relevant public health research questions.
