Special Interest Groups (SIG)
An SGEA Special Interest Group (SGEA-SIG) is a community with an interest in advancing a specific area within the SGEA where members communicate, collaborate and meet to promote research, and effect or produce solutions within their particular area. SGEA-SIGs are self-perpetuating groups in which the membership is responsible for ensuring the ongoing activities of the group. Any SGEA member can join an SGEA-SIG and can be a member of more than one SIG. To learn more about the SGEA SIG groups, please click here.
This year we will feature TWO different SIG meeting times to allow attendees a chance to visit and interact with more SIG groups. The meetings will be held on Saturday, March 14th at breakfast and lunch.
SGEA Business Meeting
All SGEA members are invited and encouraged to attend the SGEA Business Meeting held on the morning of Saturday, March 14th. The meeting covers upcoming opportunities, information about future regional meetings, career achievement awards, leadership updates, and other business items.
