Holistic well-being is the key to student success. CHSS supports healthy lifestyle choices and works to ensure students have resources to care for their physical well-being. CHSS also provides a safe space to focus on your mental and spiritual health, help you stay grounded in your "why," and connect you with resources across the Emory community.
Navigating work/life balance can be difficult. CHSS encourages students' holistic wellness through a variety of self care options to promote physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. In addition, CHSS partners with Emory School of Medicine's embedded psychologists to sponsor wellness events for students.

CHSS Events to Promote Well-being
In partnership with student groups as well as the Woodruff Health Sciences Center, CHSS focuses on student well-being through the following.
- Improving access to healthy food
- Creating opportunities for healthy coping strategies (i.e., yoga, meditation, therapy dog visits)
- Identifying areas of need in the SOM building
- Helping students in need around food insecurity, mental health challenges, and life events while in school
