Yuk Ming Liu
Overview
Yuk Ming Liu received her MD degree from SUNY University at Buffalo (2008). Her postdoctoral training includes a General Surgery Residency at Waterbury Hospital in Connecticut (2014), an Acute Burn and Reconstructive fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children (2015), and a Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital (2016). Prior to joining Emory in 2023, Dr. Liu held a position as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at Upstate Medical University and a Staff Burn Surgeon at Grady Memorial Hospital in New York. Her primary clinical focus is burn surgery. Her articles have been published in Burns, Journal of Burn Care and Research, and Journal of Clinical Psychopharmacology. She will be serve as a burn attending for the Division of Emory Surgery at Grady Memorial Hospital.
