Yousuf Khalifa MD, FACS
Overview
Dr. Yousuf Khalifa is a board certified ophthalmologist who is a nationally recognized leader in eye care, specializing in cataract and refractive surgery (LASIK and PRK) and cornea (penetrating keratoplasty, descemets membrane endothelial keratoplasty DMEK, deep anterior lamellar keratoplasty, and collagen cross linking). As the Director of the Emory Eye Center Ambulatory Surgery Center, Dr. Khalifa is dedicated to ensuring exceptional surgical care and quality outcomes for patients. Dr. Khalifa is the previous chief of ophthalmology of Grady Memorial Hospital's Eye Center where he served for over a decade, and he is the current Chief of Ophthalmology at Emory Saint Joseph's.
A passionate educator, Dr. Khalifa directs leading-edge surgical training programs, including the CSE and PAASS cataract courses, equipping the next generation of ophthalmologists with advanced skills. As a faculty member of the Harvard Cataract Course and an active contributor to the American Board of Ophthalmology, Dr. Khalifa exemplifies a commitment to innovation and excellence in the field.
