William Wainright
Overview
Brad Wainright, MD, joined Emory Eye Centers glaucoma faculty in March 2019.
Dr. Wainright was a National Merit Scholar at Harvard University. He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in biomedical engineering. He then earned his MD from Duke University and completed a one-year transitional program with Cone Health System in Greensboro, NC. He returned to Duke for his ophthalmology residency and glaucoma fellowship.
He has given numerous presentations, including at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) conference as a medical student.
Dr. Wainright is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Glaucoma Society, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
