Overview
Dr. Valentina Grajales holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, VA, and a Master of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Georgetown University. She completed her general surgery internship and urology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, PA. She joined the Emory Department of Urology faculty after finishing her Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
Dr. Valentina Grajales is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Society of Women in Urology, the American Urological Association, the International Bladder Cancer Network, and the Society of Urologic Oncology.
She has published, contributed, and presented dozens of research abstracts, articles, and book chapters on urologic cancers. Dr. Valentina Grajales is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to her patients using the latest techniques in urologic oncology. Her clinical practice focuses on the treatment of complex urologic cancers, including bladder & urothelial, kidney, prostate, testicular, and penile, using both open, laparoscopic, and robotic techniques.
