Research
Focus
- My long term research interest is the development of efficacious therapies for neurodegenerative diseases. One major research focus is to understand the pathogenesis of neurodegeneration by studying how mutations in genes lead to Alzheimers disease, frontotemporal dementia, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. The goal is to use this knowledge to identify new drug targets and lead compounds.
