Overview

James Jeong completed his DMD degree at the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine (2016). Dr. Jeong completed his MD degree (2019) and OMFS residency here at Emory University School of Medicine (2022). Prior to rejoining Emory in 2023, he completed a head & neck oncology and microvascular reconstruction fellowship at the University of Michigan. His primary clinical focus is oral/head and neck pathology and reconstructive surgery as well as facial trauma and corrective jaw surgery. His articles have been published in a number of leading journals including the Journal of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery, Journal of Craniomaxillofacial Surgery and Craniomaxillofacial Trauma and Reconstruction. He will serve as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon for the Division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery within the Department of Surgery based primarily at The Emory Clinic. He also has a secondary appointment with the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck at Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
