Tamer Attia
Overview
Dr. Tamer Attia received his MBBCh degree, his PhD in cardiothoracic surgery, and completed his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Cairo University, after which he worked on the faculty of the university's Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery as an assistant lecturer. In 2009, he joined the Cleveland Clinic to complete his clinical fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery and his general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery residencies. He joined the Emory Department of Surgery in 2018.
