Seema Tekwani
Overview
Dr. Tekwani completed her medical school education at T.N. Medical College and B.Y.L. Nair Hospital in India. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at Harlem Hospital, Columbia University from 2009-2012 and fellowship training in Critical Care Medicine at University of Pittsburgh from 2012-2014
Dr. Tekwani joined Emory University as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in 2014 with the division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical care. She spends her clinical time in the Medical and Coronary Intensive Care Units at Grady memorial Hospital. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
She holds a Masters in Health administration from University of Missouri-Columbia and is interested in health services research, quality improvement, patient safety and knowledge translation in Critical Care. She actively participates in teaching medical students, residents and fellows at Emory University.
