Overview
After earning his MD degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine, Dr. Shreyas Joshi did his general surgery internship and urology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his Society of Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, and obtained his Master of Public Health at Temple University College of Public Health. Prior to joining Emory in 2019, Dr. Joshi was an attending surgeon at Fox Chase Center.
Dr. Joshi is the Director of the Bladder Cancer Program for Emory Urology. His clinical interests include the management of complex urologic malignancies, with particular specialization in open, laparoscopic, and robotic approaches to prostate, bladder, and kidney cancers, as well as the surgical management of other urologic cancers.
Dr. Joshi is a member and active participant in the American Urological Association and the Society of Urologic Oncology. He has published, contributed, and presented dozens of abstracts, articles, and book chapters on urologic cancers, and actively participates in major national clinical trials.
