Stephanie Romo Dr.
Overview
Dr. Steph Romo is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Emory University School of Medicine and a Pediatric Psychologist in the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorder Center at the Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta. She earned her bachelors degree in psychology from New York University, and her masters and doctoral degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her pediatric psychology residency and post-doctoral fellowship at Nemours Childrens Hospital DE, where she specialized in serving hematology and oncology patients. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Psychology. Dr. Romo is an Indigenous Latina whose areas of interest include lived experiences of patients and families, adherence promotion, and health equity.
