Academic Appointment

  • Professor of Medicine, Cardiology, Emory University School of Medicine

Education

Degrees

  • MBBS from Sind Medical College University of Karachi

Research

Focus

  • Care of patients with ST elevation myocardial infarction and appropriate door to balloon time for Metro Atlanta and Emory Healthcare is an ongoing project involving multiple committees and the American Heart Association. Treatment of patients with Left Main Coronary artery disease, either by stenting or a hybrid procedure has been the subject of research for many years and will be the subject of a international multicenter trial (EXCEL),with Emory as a site compare stenting vs surgery for this disease entity.
