Focus
- Regulation of actin filament dynamics in muscle development, embryogenesis, endocytosis and cell motility. Actin filaments are the core of the actin cytoskeleton and play fundamental roles in a number of cell biological processes. Defects in regulation of the actin cytoskeleton often cause human diseases. My research focus is to understand the basic mechanisms by which actin polymerization, depolymerization, cytoskeletal organization are regulated.
