Shalwa Mohidul
Overview
Dr. Mohidul is a double board-certified surgeon in both General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. She specializes in Emergency General Surgery at Emory University. This includes a wide array of surgeries from gallbladder and appendix removal to bowel resection and hernia repairs.
She completed her undergraduate at the University of Georgia where she majored in Biology. She obtained her medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. She completed her General Surgery residency at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After residency, she completed her fellowship in Surgical Critical Care at NYP Weill Cornell in New York, and her fellowship in Acute Care Surgery/Trauma from Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
Her areas of interest include emergency general surgery, robotic surgery, and trauma surgery. She is a Georgia native who is happy to be serving her community.
