Overview
Dr. Saria Hassan is an Assistant Professor in General Medicine. She is a Medicine and Pediatrics trained physician scientist. Dr. Hassan's clinical home is at Emory Midtown where she participates in resident education. Dr. Hassan' is an implementation scientist with a research interest in addressing the needs of people living with non-communicable diseases in the setting of climate-induced disasters. Dr. Hassan has research projects in the Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, and mainland US. She is a member of the Emory Global Diabetes Reseach Center and affiliate faculty at the Center for Humanitarian Emergengies.
