Sheethal Reddy PhD
Overview
Dr. Reddy is a licensed psychologist at the Emory Bariatric Center at Midtown. Prior to that, Dr. Reddy was the psychologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Strong4Life Clinic, a center for pediatric weight management.
She received her PhD in clinical psychology from Kent State University after completing a behavioral medicine pre-doctoral internship at Duke University Medical Center. She completed her post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Emory University with a clinical focus on young adult mental health, body image and eating disorders and a research focus on compassion-based cognitive treatments.
Dr. Reddy specializes in cognitive-behavioral interventions for lifestyle weight management and pre- and post-surgical interventions to support weight loss surgery success. She is currently working towards certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction teacher.
