Overview

Sagar B. Dave, DO is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology at the Emory University School of Medicine. He serves as the Director of Operations for the Emory ECMO Program and Associate Medical Director of the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. His primary clinical focus is adult critical care medicine in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at Emory University Hospital with additional devoted time to adult emergency medicine at Grady Memorial Hospital. He is also a primary member of the ECMO team leading consultation, cannulation, and initiation of local and remote VV and VA ECMO. His research interests include implementation of medical education, extracorporeal life support research, and applications of emergency medicine and trauma resuscitation. He lectures regionally and nationally on the application of extracorporeal life support, critical care fundamentals, and resuscitation in Emergency Medicine and Traumatology.
