Rohini Bhatia
Overview
Rohini K. Bhatia, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Bhatia is a radiation oncologist practicing at Winship Cancer Institutes Clifton campus. Prior to joining Emory, Dr. Bhatia was a chief resident at Johns Hopkins University. She completed her medical internship at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and received her MD from the University of Rochester.
A Gold Humanism Honor Society member and Fulbright awardee, she has been active in global health research, including key work on hypofractionation for breast cancer in Sub-Saharan Africa funded by the ASTRO-BCRF Resident Seed Grant. She is interested in continuing global health research directed at improving access to radiation and reducing health disparities. She additionally has contributed to work in gynecologic and pediatric malignancies as well as stereotactic radiation for brain metastases.
