Overview

Dr Faught is a specialist in epilepsy. His research involves clinical trials of new antiseizure medications and epidemiology and health outcomes of epilepsy. He was Director of the Emory Epilepsy Center from 2013 to 2021, and Chief of Neurology at Emory University Hospital Midtown from 2009 to 2013. He was Director of the University of Alabama at Birmingham Epilepsy Center from 1985 to 2009. He has received a Platinum Provider Award from Emory for patient care, is a former President of the Southern EEG Society, and is a Colonel in the US Army Reserve.
