Overview

Dr. Fang did his general surgery residency at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, his plastic surgery research fellowship and residency at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, and a fellowship in hand and microsurgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Dr. Fang's clinical interests include hand surgery, breast reconstruction, microsurgery, Mohs reconstructive surgery, aesthetic and cosmetic surgery, scar revision, limb salvage, and peripheral nerve surgery, while his research focuses on chronic wound healing and obstetric brachial plexopathy. As the director of the plastic and reconstructive surgery service at Grady Memorial Hospital, he developed an integrated plastic/hand surgery and hand therapy clinic to improve the delivery of ambulatory care for patients with hand trauma at Grady.
