Focus
- Investigation of the history dependence of the intrinsic mechanical properties of skeletal muscle in response to stretch and release, measured in single skinned feline muscle fibers. Areas of interest include the dependence of these properties on: fiber type; muscle origin ; acute chemical conditions; and prior conditions of disease or adaptation.
