Overview
Dr. Khullar received his MD degree from Jefferson Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, in 2006. He completed his general surgery residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in 2013, did a two-year thoracic surgery research fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital from 2008-2010, and completed his Emory cardiothoracic surgery fellowship in 2016, after which he joined our faculty. Throughout his training years, Dr. Khullar was interested in improving results and survival in thoracic oncology. His clinical specialties include video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery, robotic thoracic surgery, and lung and esophageal cancer treatment. His research interests are in thoracic quality and outcome improvements.
