Overview
Neonatologist in Department of Pediatrics with a career focus on improving neonatal mortality in Sub-Saharan African Countries via development of "Keeping Babies Alive". Success of keeping Babies alive with be heavily based on involvement of stake holders in the region thus building necessary capacity to implement change.
Also focusing on Diversity in Medicine. Diversity breeds innovation and development which leads to more success in academics however for URM physicians to function at their maximum capacity to further innovation, their wellness must be ensured.
