Overview

Norman Lester received his MD degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine (1989). His postgraduate medical training includes an internship in General Surgery (1990) and a residency in Otolaryngology, both at the University of Maryland Medical System (1994). Prior to joining Emory in 2023, he held positions at West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, Medstar Washington Hospital Center, and Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital Center. His article has been published in a leading journal Laryngoscope. He will serve in the Department of Otolaryngology at the Emory University School of Medicine and as a full-time attending Otolaryngologist at the Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC).
