Maria Ribeiro MD
Overview
Dr. Ribeiro received her Medical Degree at the Federal University of Minas Gerais Medical School in Brazil. She completed her internship at Harlem Hospital and Medical Center in New York, where she also completed her residency. She then went on to complete fellowships at University of Connecticut Health Center, at Emory University Hospital, and at Centers for Disease Control National Center for Infectious Diseases.
Although Dr. Ribeiro still has strong clinical interest in advances of therapy of thrombosis and hemostasis problems, the goal of Dr. Ribeiro's research program is to improve quality of cancer care and clinical trials accrual.
