Research

Focus

  • To study the impact of early life stress (ELS) on neurodevelopment of systems that control stress physiology and emotional behavior in nonhuman primates. Goals: to understand (1) time course of neurodevelopmental changes, (2) genetic factors that affect vulnerability to ELS and (2) molecular/cellular mechanisms underlying ELS-induced alterations leading to psychopathology.
