Dr. Lloyd began practicing medicine at Emory in 2007he specializes in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. His areas of clinical interest and research include arrhythmias, electrophysiology lab, and pacemaker. Dr. Lloyds organizational leadership memberships include the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the Heart Rhythm Society.

Focus
- The two major areas of my research are resuscitation and cardiac resynchronization therapy. My projects centered around implementation of Hands-on defibrillation, a concept founded, tested, and published in our laboratory. For cardiac resynchronization, I am studying ways to enhance response rates for patients with heart failure using magnetic resonance and intraoperative measurements
