Mark Mullins MD/PhD
Overview
Dr. Mullins is a notable expert neuroradiologist and is very committed to excellence in education, with nearly 30 years of teaching experience in various contexts. He has held several positions of leadership in local, regional and national groups, presented frequently at meetings, been an innovator in education and has published frequently as a resident, fellow and attending radiologist. He has earned the Eminent Physician clinical distinction from the Emory School of Medicine for exemplary and exceptional performance as a clinical care provider. He additionally is an award-winning educator who most recently received the 2023 American Board of Radiology Lifetime Achievement Award, the Association of Program Directors in Radiology (APDR) Achievement Award for his pioneering work in radiology training, and was elected Fellow of the Association of University Radiologists In 2022.

- My clinical research has primarily focused on the diagnostic imaging of stroke using CT (computed tomography), CTA (computed tomography angiography), CTP (computed tomography perfusion), MRI (magnetic resonance imaging), MRS (magnetic resonance spectroscopy), MRA (magnetic resonance angiography), PWI (perfusion weighted imaging) and DWI (diffusion weighted imaging).
