Overview
I am a pediatric endocrinologist interested in the study and care of patients treated for cancer. I have been the medical director of the Cancer Survivor Program for the Aflac Cancer Center at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta since it's inception in 2001. I am specifically interested in gonadal late effects, infertility and fertility preservation. I am also interested in risk communication and patient perceptions of risk.

Research
Focus
- I am interested in delineating the late effects of cancer treatment in children and developing science based recommendations regarding recognition, monitoring and treatment of these late effects. The incidence of late effects can be factored into strategies for new oncology protocol development aimed to increase cure while minimizing late effects.
