Overview
Lisa Mack, MD is an assistant professor at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA where she has practiced for over 15 years. She received her BA from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and her Medical Doctor degree from the University of Illinois School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. She completed her Emergency Medicine Residency at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL in 1999. And she has had additional training in education through the ACEP teaching and advanced teaching fellowships.
Dr. Mack is the recipient of the Excellence in Service Award, National Medical Association Emergency Medicine Section Faculty Golden Probe Award For Excellence in Emergency Ultrasound, Faculty Mentor of the Year Award, and the Best Teacher 4th year EM clerkship.
Dr. Mack is a member of the National Medical Association , the American College of Emergency Physicians and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Her area of expertise is geriatric emergency medicine. She has been an ACLS instructor since 1997 and is a former assistant residency director. Her outside interests include tennis, skiing and traveling but her greatest joy is raising her daughter, Jaden.
