Overview
Dr. Hayes is a pediatric neuroradiologist and associate professor in the Division of Pediatric Imaging who serves as the co-director of pediatric neuroradiology at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. Her clinical and research interests include imaging of pediatric spine and brain conditions.
Dr. Hayes began her career as a pediatric neuroradiologist at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Scottish Rite Hospital, where she served for eight years. She then served as medical director of pediatric radiology for the Studer Family Children's Hospital at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Florida before becoming as associate professor of radiology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, where she also was a pediatric radioilogist and neuroradiologist in the Nemours Children's Hospital/Health System for six years.
Very active at the national level in several professional associations, Dr. Hayes currently chairs the 2026 Annual Meeting Planning Committee of the American Society of Pediatric Neuroradiology, serves as ASPNR secretary and is president-elect (term begins in 2027). She also is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. An active supporter of the American Board of Radiology, Dr. Hayes chairs the ABR Pediatric Subspecialty Exam Committee.
