Lauren Beatty
Overview
Lauren Beatty is an Assistant Professor of Family and Preventative Medicine in the Physician Assistant Program at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Master of Physician Assistant degree from Augusta University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. She has practiced clinically in emergency medicine and orthopedic surgery. Prior to joining Emory, Lauren taught graduate classes as a principal didactic faculty member at South College PA Program.
Now at Emory, Lauren is course director for Introduction to Physical Assessment and the Endocrine and Hematology/Oncology modules. Laurens research interests are at the intersection of bone health and women's health. She is passionate about preparing the next generation of compassionate and competent health care providers.
