Beth Davis PT/DPT/MBA
Overview
Dr. Davis is an Associate Professor in the Division of Physical Therapy, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine in the School of Medicine at Emory University. Dr. Davis joined the faculty in 2008, and currently coordinates and teaches the Health Services and Management, Professional Leadership and Development, Administration and Consultation in Healthcare, and Business Management for the Physical Therapist Entrepreneur courses. Her research focuses on interprofessional education and collaborative practice for facilitators and students with an interest in faculty and clinical instructor development. Her scholarship emphasizes collaboration with physical therapy and interdisciplinary colleagues at Emory and other institutions to improve development and evaluation of interprofessional education and practice. Dr. Davis regularly presents at national conferences on the topics of interprofessional education and collaboration. She is a founding member of the National Interprofessional Education and Collaboration (NIPEC) and a fellow of the National Academies of Practice (NAP). She is also involved in research related to physical therapy student education and marketing in physical therapy private practice settings.

My scholarship is focused on the development and evaluation of interprofessional education and team training programs for faculty and students emphasizing collaboration with physical therapy and interdisciplinary colleagues at Emory and other institutions to produce scholarship activities which improve interprofessional education, collaborative practice, and ultimately patient care.
