Dr. Katherine Nugent is an Associate Professor in the Emergency Medicine and Anesthesiology, Division of Critical Care Medicine, at Emory University School of Medicine. She completed her undergraduate education at Dartmouth College and received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. She then went on to complete both her Emergency Medicine Residency and her Anesthesia Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine. Her academic and research interests include resident and fellow education, quality improvement initiatives, multi-disciplinary team communication, mechanical circulatory support, and sepsis management.
