Keerthi Gogineni MD, MSHP
Overview
Board certified in hematology and medical oncology, Dr. Gogineni sees patients with breast malignancies and is a member of the clinical care team in the Glenn Family Breast Cetner at Winship Cancer Institute. She actively collaborates with other Winship members in clinical trials and health policy research.
Dr. Gogineni serves as Associate Director of the Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program and as Co-Vice Chair of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Gogineni is conducting research that evaluates and improves access to oncology care for disenfranchised patients.
Dr. Gogineni has presented the results of her health policy research at national meetings, such as the American Society for Clinical Oncology, and published her work in peer-reviewed journals such as the New England Journal of Medicine.
Dr. Gogineni was awarded a Young Investigator Award from the American Society of Clinical Oncology and a Pfizer Research Fellowship in Bioethics for her research. As a fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, she received the Hematology-Oncology Jane Alavi Award for Clinical Excellence from the Department of Medicine.
