Overview

Dr. Chaudagars work focuses on developing a novel therapeutic strategy to overcome TAM-mediated immunosuppression by targeting TAM checkpoints and eventually mount autologous anti-tumor immune response. He is a member of the Cancer Immunology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.

Dr. Chaudagar earned his PhD in pharmacology from Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Technology in India. Following this, he completed his postdoctoral training in cancer immunology at the University of Chicago. Prior to his PhD, he received his master's in pharmacology from Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India.

Dr. Chaudagar is the recipient of a PharmInnova Award for Best PhD Thesis in Pharmaceutical Sciences, a SAIA National Doctoral Program Award, CSIR-NET Junior Research Fellowship in Life Sciences and a GATE Fellowship from the All India Council for Technical Education.
