Jonathan Zurcher
Overview
Jonathan Zurcher, MD, is an assistant professor of Surgery in the Cardiothoracic Surgery Department and practices at Emory University Hospital and Emory University Midtown Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He then completed his general surgery residency at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. Following residency, he completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at Emory University, after which he completed an additional fellowship year of Advanced Aortic Surgery at Emory University.
Dr. Zurcher's primary clinical focus is general adult cardiac surgery with particular interest in open aortic surgery, endovascular surgery, and cardiac transplantation and mechanical support.
