Research
Focus
- My research is focused in three areas of healthcare epidemiology: antibiotic optimization, prevention of transmission of infection with a focus on the physical environment, and assessing risk factors and outcomes for infections with multidrug resistant organisms. I study infections both at the hospital level in my role as associate hospital epidemiologist, as well at as the population level as part of the Georgia Emerging Infections Program.
