Overview

Dr. Jonathan Suarez is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his medical school training at Temple University in Philadelphia and his internal medicine residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. He then returned to Philadelphia to complete his nephrology fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania where he also obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Epidemiology (MSCE). He then went on to complete a critical care fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine prior to joining Emory.
He currently sees patients at Emory University Hospital on the renal consult service, Critical Care at Emory Johns Creek Hospital and Emory Clinic at the Clifton campus.
His research interests include critical care nephrology, acute kidney injury and healthcare disparities.
