Focus
- My research focuses on understanding and improving the declines in physical and cognitive functioning commonly demonstrated in older adults and individuals with neurological disease. The Specific Aims of my research are to determine: -The impact of aging and disease on gait and balance. -The relationship between mobility and cognitive executive functions. -Longitudinal changes in mobility and cognitive executive functions brought on by disease and/or interventions, including physical exercise.
