Dr. Becker is a neuroradiologist and Associate Neuroradiology Division Director. She joined Emory Radiology in December 2023 from Mayo Clinic, Arizona, and immediately began contributing expertise to several areas of clinical care, including advanced head and neck imaging, advanced imaging protocols, and challenging procedures.
Originally from the United Kingdom (UK), Dr. Becker began her career as a consultant radiologist at Imperial College NHS Trust in London. She then moved to the United States and joined the faculty of the University of Arizona College of Medicine, where she served from 2013 to 2022, the last two years as Division Chief of Neuroradiology.
Dr, Becker has been extremely active in national and international radiology and neuroradiology societies including the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR), American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR), American College of Radiology (ACR), and American Society of Functional Neuroradiology (ASFNR) and has served as president of the Western Neuroradiological Society (WNRS).
Dr. Becker received her medical degree from Nottingham University Medical School, UK, where she also completed post-graduate training including a surgical residency specializing in otolaryngological, or ENT, surgery, diagnostic radiology residency and a fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology.
